Welcome To David Menezes National Violin Competition Goa 2014
The Indo – German Educational and Cultural Society of Goa take pleasure in organizing the 4th All India Violin Competition in memory of David Menezes; an outstanding figure in the corporate world in Goa till death took him away. David Menezes had a great passion for music being a fine violinist himself.
The national violin competition is a fruit of a felicitous partnership between the Menezes family that has for decades played a leading role in bringing musicians from around globe to perform for select audiences in Goa and the Indo – German Educational and Cultural Society of Goa.
The violin is the queen of all musical instruments and also forms the backbone of Goan folk music and is widely played and appreciated across Goa. We would like to welcome you to this event.
