Beiersdorf (India) Ltd. is a market leading company in the consumer plaster business in India. The company was formed in the late 1960’s with technical knowhow from Beiersdorf AG and has the distinction of being the first factory set-up in Goa post liberation in 1961. The venture was extended into a Joint Venture in the early 1990’s for Beiersdorf’s medical range of products.

INDIAN OPERATIONS

Beiersdorf (India) in headquartered in Mumbai and has a modern manufacturing plant in Ponda, Goa. The company manufactures and markets the Hansaplast and Lion plaster range of consumer tapes – which are among the market leaders in their product categories. The company employs around 300 people and is professionally managed by Mr. Sailesh Viswanathan.
